This remodel of a 1950's era one-story Birdrock - La Jolla, home evokes the Aloha Style of the Hawaiian Islands, the owner's favorite getaway. The house was redefined by opening the plan to interconnect interior and exterior spaces, while the new second-story bedrooms take advantage of ocean views. Koa flooring, rich stone textures, color and detailing contribute to the island palette.
